I'm working on one about the time we outfitted a schoolbus and left Minneapolis in a blinding snowstorm to join the Caravan. The "we" in this case is Barbie, Michael and Karen, and me. Our engine blew up right outside of Dekorah Iowa and we found another engine laying in the snow outside an International Harvester Dealer. Maybe Michael would like to collaborate with me on what he recalls of that event?

There are a lot of stories out of our Wisconsin Farm experience also.

Yes Terry, I would love for you to post this message to as many people as possible or make it easier to see. I just want short stories on our craxy lifes, they don't hav e to be long at all, just interesting. So come on people, lets write down some of our past before it begins to fade.... It's not a *book* Ellie, just a vignette for your book. I'd like to collaborate with Michael and write kind of a history of our lives in Minneapolis, the Caravan, the Tennesse and the Wisconsin Farms. Though this website, I found out about a guy who lived on the Wisconsin Farm and who's making primo, fine guitars in Southern Oregon for rock musicians like the Grateful Dead band members, etc.

I hope you site picks up again, it has so much potential.

Hey Ellie, I passed thru the Farm in '76, arrived with my hippied-out '62 dented Buick piled high with all our belongings, my wife to be Karen and I. It was like touching down in heaven, except for not being telepathic yet and having to go thru those changes. I used to have dreams there while sleeping in a schoolbus of the schoolbus being a spaceship and heading off to god knows where. I was like one of those arialists Stephen talked about that they tried to grab as one came thru on his trapeze. I had no idea really what was going on there when I went, I had just projected my experience of hippies onto everyone and people are not projections.
